Miami
Over the past thirty years I have visited Miami many times and have seen its waterfront area undergo a revitalization like few American cities. There are a lot of good hotels, but we really think that the Epic outdoes them all in terms of chic and glamour. Every once in a while it is worth splurging and the Epic is the place to do it. Here’s a link to my Trip Advisor review. On a recent trip we visited Jungle Island and had a ball. We always liked the old Parrot Jungle and this is a new and improved, if somewhat pricey edition. Also spent time in Little Havana where the food is great and the murals impressive. Quite safe to walk around as well. Lastly we drove around Coral Gables to appreciate the great architecture and dropped into the Biltmore although we didn’t stay. That’s for a future trip.
