Oahu
Oahu is the first stop for most first time visitors to Hawaii. While I would recommend spending a few days on Waikiki there is a lot more to Honolulu than this small strip of beach. Must sees in my opinion include Pearl Harbor, the Bishop Museum, Foster Gardens and Pu’u Ualaka’a Lookout. After a few days in hectic Honolulu the North Shore is like hitting the relaxation decelerator. Turtle Bay resort is the perfect place from which to explore the legendary beaches and laid back historic little towns. If the big waves of the North Share are not enough of an adrenalin rush try Hawaii Shark Encounters. Here are photos of our two visits to Oahu last March.
