For some reason Brussels was never on my radar as place I really needed to visit, but once I did it immediately became one of my favourites in Europe. We took the Chunnel from London and spent three days exploring the city and hardly scratched the surface. The Grand Place is a stunningly beautiful complex of medieval architectural masterpieces that was totally unexpected and the Musee des Beaux Arts one of the best in the world. Read more here.
